Mining On Top Africa (MOTA) is THE strategic forum on mining issues in Africa, bringing together government representatives, international organizations and CEOs of major African and European groups.
This 6th Annual African Mining Summit will be held in Paris on July 12 and 13, 2023 at the Westin Paris Vendôme hotel, and will enable key European stakeholders to meet mining players operating in Africa, in order to foster sustainable partnerships.
Numerous African ministers are expected to attend, including Mr. Samou Seidou Adambi, Minister of Water and Mines of Benin; Mr. Oumar Sarr, Minister of Mines and Geology of Senegal; Ms. Ousseini Hadizatou Yacouba, Minister of Mines of Niger; Mr. Salim Mvurya, Minister of Mines, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs of Kenya; and Mr. Chen Sylvestre Mezui M’Obiang, Minister of Mines and Geology of Gabon.
Pierre-Samuel Guedj, Chairman of Affectio Mutandi and of CIAN’s CSR&ODD Commission, will moderate the panel on ESG issues in the mining sector.
